Charscot travelled to Carnbroe Rovers looking to maintain their great record at Rovers, with only one loss there ever.

However the team started badly and whilst they fought back they ultimately threw the match away.

One down inside 30 seconds, the team went two down on the hour mark.

Rijkhoff toe-poked home on 64 minutes before Rivellino equalised with a spectacular volley with ten minutes left.

As time ticked down the Wolverines were sucker-punched with a last goal goal to inflict a 3-2 loss.

The loss dropped the side to 10th place and left the manager fuming.

Rich Grove had no excuses afterwards. "That was garbage. Rovers have got off to a good start but we should be doing better than this. It may be time for wholesale changes frankly".

In the Super Cup the team beat Clyne City 2-0 to win the group and progress to the second round.

01/06/2026
Charscot welcomed Champions Longfield K.L.F to The Blue Silver Stadium for the last game at the ground before the final building work is completed in preparation for the first round of the cup in 2 week's time.

It was a poor performance in truth and KLF left with the three points thanks to an 82nd minute goal from Obafemi.

The loss dropped the team down to ninth place.

Manager Rich Grove was underwhelmed. "We are simply not good enough in the final third and our midfield has to both score more goals and also create better chances for our attack, who have shown they can score when a decent chance is created".

The team won 2-0 in the Super Cup at Resolven Rovers, meaning a win next week would see the team qualify for the knockout stages.

25/05/2026
Charscot made the trip to struggling Rhyl hoping to continue their own good run against the winless hosts.

Despite a dominant performance The Wolverines couldn't finish the hosts off and had to settle for a 0-0 draw that dropped the team to sixth.

Manager Rich Grove saved his praise for one player afterwards. "Rudi Hiden has come in and made an excellent start to his career, with four clean sheets in the six he has played. Frustrating that we couldn't find a goal but he has been brilliant for us".

In the Super Cup Charscot won 1-0 at Clyne Crusaders, a result that gives the side a long shot chance of progress.

18/05/2026
Charscot welcomed Ziaste Nequeno to The Blue Silver Stadium for a must win derby match that was shown live on tv.

The hosts were the more impressive but took until the last half hour to make the most of their quality as Zebeto scored an 18 minute hat-trick, the first of his career and the second one for a Charscot player this season after just 6 weeks.

Two toe-pokes sandwiched a header for his hat-trick.

The win moved the team up to fifth place and left the manager very happy afterwards.

"That was an exceptional performance and if we can re-produce that on the road we can have a good season".

In the Super Cup the team played out a goalless draw that realistically means the club is out at the group stage.

11/05/2026
Charscot travelled to Shaolin on the back of consecutive 3-0 wins and playing at a ground where they had won their last visits to.

All this momentum meant nothing as the team crashed to a 2-0 loss despite dominating the game and missing multiple chances to score.

The result drops the team to 7th place.

Manager Rich Grove refused to speak afterwards, his ire clearly showing as he glared at reporters when he left the ground.

The team is all but out of the Super Cup after a 2-1 home loss to Resolven after getting a little respite with the loss to Kildare being expunged.

04/05/2026
The team was looking for their first home win of the season as they faced Athletico Academy and the result was their second consecutive 3-0 win.

The Wolverines were very efficient as Rivellino's first half lob was followed by a Zebeto second half double, firstly with another lob and then a tap in.

The win moved the team up to fourth place after four games.

Manager Rich Grove was ecstatic afterwards. "That was an excellent performance and if we can maintain the performances of the last two matches we can have a very good season".

In the Super Cup the team lost again, this time 2-1 at home to Requiem Shark, a result which leaves the team close to exiting after only two matches.

27/04/2026
The second away game of the season saw Charscot travelling to Prestatyn Town looking for a repeat of last season's win.

Not only did the team manage that but striker Brad Blackwell became the first Charscot player ever to score two hat-tricks for the club, and his first one was at the same venue last season !

A magnificent lob was followed up with two close range goals to secure a big 3-0 road win that saw the team move up to 7th place.

Manager Rich Grove was ecstatic afterwards. "That was an excellent performance from start to finish. I am very proud of the players and only hope we can continue in this vein going forward".

The WPL Super Cup started and the club lost 3-1 at Colwyn Bay for a less than impressive first group game.

20/04/2026
The first home game of the season saw Charscot dominate for long periods before getting pegged back for a draw.

Rivellino's beautiful header saw the team leading at half time but Nabbout scored with 14 minutes left to leave the  teams sharing the points.

The draw leaves the team in 11th place and looking for a first win of the season

"That was frustrating", said Manager Rich Grove post-match. "We should have won this game but we now look to our trip to Prestatyn Town and hope we can grab the three points there".

13/04/2026
A new season started badly today as Charscot crumbled in the first half, quickly going three down at Spondon Phoenix.

The team were poor at the back but created enough to score as many as they conceded but the team simply did not perform in any department.

Julian Rijkhoff's goal was scant consolation.

The loss sees the team in 13th place already.

Manager Rich Grove was angry post match. "That was abysmal from all departments. If I could I would drop all 11 starters but as it is I will look to make a few changes for our home match against St Josephs".

The team were drawn at home to Caglibari Calcio in the cup and signed a number of players to new contracts.

Rafael Gordillo returned to the club for the third time in his career to hopefully provide a much needed wiser older head.

06/04/2026
The season ended today with a final home game against Whitebrook Rangers who had been relegated already.

After dropping behind early on a Zebeto penalty followed by Rivellino's 20 yard curler was enough for The Wolverines to finish the season with a 2-1 win.

The win moved the club to fifth place, level with third on points but behind on goal difference.

Manager Rich Grove was happy afterwards. "At no point did we drop lower than seventh place, which is a much better level of consistency than we have achieved in some time. We need to replicate our away form next season and be much better at home, where we let ourselves down on far too many occasions".

As the season comes to a close it is time to pass out the awards.

Didi unexpectedly took the Player of the Year award as his second season with the first team saw him score 8 goals from midfield.

Hector Scarone hoped to repeat his Young Player of the Year award but was pipped by keeper Rudi Hiden to the award this season.

In terms of club records there were none broken this season, good or bad.

30/03/2026
Charscot went to A.F.C Binfield and got thumped 4-0 to realistically end any top 3 hopes.

However, the team will have been seventh or better all season so the season has been a vast improvement on recent ones.

Manager Rich Grove had "no comment" afterwards as he looks to focus on next season.

23/03/2026
Charscot hosted Seabourne City trying to stay in touch with the top 3 and the game with City was a hard match.

City scored twice but luckily the second goal was a Kevan James own goal to secure a 1-1 draw that sees the team drop to fifth but remain just 2 points adrift of their next opponents, A.F.C Binfield.

Manager Rich Grove was tight lipped post-match. "Not the greatest game but a hard fought point that keeps us in touch . Need to be more effective in the final third next week".

16/03/2026
Charscot went to local rivals Dep El Celtico for a match that would determine if either side had a shot at a top 3 finish.

The Wolverines outplayed the hosts and were deserving of a 2-0 win that keeps the team in fourth place thanks to Rijkhoff and Rivellino's first half goals.

The win moves the team within two points of second place with three matches remaining in the season.

Manager Rich Grove was delighted afterwards. "That was such a good win and a special mention for Mo Keyper, who was under pressure in goal and has responded with 3 consecutive clean sheets. A great job by him".

Contracts were renewed for a number of players today with Duscher, Schlosser, Pohl, Lehtonen, Rijkhoff and Lorde all being rewarded.

An accident resulted in the auction market listing of Alessandro Altobelli. A mistake the manager is very angry with himself over.

09/03/2026
Charscot hosted The Academy looking for a league double.

The match saw the hosts control the match for long periods and they won courtesy of a 32nd minute solo goal from Rivellino.

The win moves the team back into fourth position in what has been a decent season after a number of poor seasons.

Manager Rich Grove was not available post-match having become unwell.

It is looking like Alessandro Altobelli may be leaving the club, having been made avail;able for a swap deal. If no swap is found this week he may end up on the auction market.

02/03/2026
Charscot travelled to Vanbrugh Royals for a local derby with nothing to play for with both sides safely away from any relegation worries but scant chance of a top 3 finish.

The match saw Charscot have the quality shots whilst the hosts were more wasteful in the final third but neither side showed enough to get a winning goal in a 0-0 draw.

The result drops Charscot to sixth place.

Manager Rich Grove had little to say afterwards. "Better finishing is needed from us but in the circumstances it is useful to learn more about these players tactically".

23/02/2026
Charscot welcomed Beeston Athletic for a local derby looking t help our Ziaste Nequeno in a tense relegation battle.

As it was Beeston helped Charscot with an own goal winner after Didi had given The Wolverines the lead.
Bizarrely Beeston have now scored four own goals in this fixture.

The consolation goal for Beeston with four minutes left will have done little to ease their relegation worries.

Manager Rich Grove was satisfied afterwards. "We are trying out some different stuff and that was a pleasing win with new tactics".

16/02/2026
Charscot made the trip to Champions Longfield K.L.F low in confidence and it was reflected in a first half that saw The Wolverines go two down.

Oliver Burke's substitute appearance halved the arrears but it wasn't enough as the team lost 2-1.

The loss drops the team to a season equalling low of 7th place,

Manager Rich Grove was brief afterwards. "Not what we hoped for, just not been good enough in recent weeks".

Alihev joined Dep El via the auction market this week and the manager said further exits were possible.

09/02/2026
Charscot welcomed struggling Balham Town knowing a win was needed to keep touch with the top 3.

However another disappointing home performance meant they could only take a point from a 1-1 draw.

Didi scored with a spectacular free kick on 25 minutes but a 62nd minute equaliser meant a home draw.

The team remain in 6th place and have little to play for.

02/02/2026
Charscot finally lost an away league match this week as they crumbled in the local derby at Ziaste Nequeno.

The performance was poor and an equaliser from Blackwell would not deny the hosts who won through an Ivan Bek double.

The team remain in sixth place but it feels like the season is over at this stage.

Manager Rich Grove was angry afterwards. "We were always going to lose on the road eventually but that performance was so poor it was embarrassing. We have to play a lot better in the final couple of months of the season".

The two clubs completed a deal afterwards as Charscot cleared a log jam at keeper, sending Ronnie Simpson to Ziaste whilst in return they received Jozsef Takacs.

26/01/2026
Charscot continue to struggle at home, losing 1-0 to Shaolin and dropping from 3rd to 6th place.

Manager Rich Grove was not seen post-match as a club emergency meant he had to leave immediately after the match.

19/01/2026
Today The Wolverines had to fight hard to maintain their unbeaten away league record as hosts Athletico Academy led 2-0 after 47 minutes.

Rijkhoff scored a beautiful chip on 66 minutes but all seemed lost with time running out before substitute Brad Blackwell hit a spectacular shot from the edge of the area to equalise in the 89th minute.

The point moved the team up to third place.

Manager Rich Grove was relived afterwards. "It is good to see us keep the road record going so far into the season. We need to focus on winning more home matches as our away form has slightly spluttered with draws of late".

Oleksandr Alihev was placed on the auction market this week as the manager lost confidence in the oft-injured midfielder.

12/01/2026
The Wolverines welcomed Prestatyn Town to The Blue Silver Stadium aiming to cement a top four place.

For the second week running a substitute scored, this time Rivellino took 35 seconds to score the only goal.

The win keeps the team fourth but just a point off of top spot.

Manager Rich Grove was pleased afterwards. "An excellent result that keeps us in contention".

Behind the scenes Alihev picked up a second injury of the season and rumours abound that the manager has had enough.

05/01/2026 A hard road trip[ to St Joseph's BC where the team has not won in many seasons ended in a 1-1 draw thanks to substitute Zebeto's late brilliant shot from the edge of the area.

The team stay in fourth place as the second half of the season starts in earnest.

Manager Rich Grove skipped the post-match press conference with the club saying there was little to comment on at this point.

06/01/2025
A crucial trip to Colwyn Bay as The Wolverines looked for a win that would see them leapfrog above the hosts.

The match turned into a very one-sided contest as Charscot dominated throughout and won 2-0 courtesy of first half goals from Imre Schlosser with a fine lob and Zebeto scoring a superb swerving free kick.

The win moves the team up to 13th place with an enormous week ahead as the team face the side directly above them in the league, Wascisco Red Sox, and a cup semi-final against Whitebrook Rangers.

Manager Rich Grove was delighted afterwards. "That was an excellent performance and another couple of performances at that standard should see us safe. Anything less though and we are in deep trouble with no room for errors at this late stage in the season".
